Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), her fiance, and Sparrow race after them to get her and the ship back back .

There are a number of unforgettable characters that graced the screen’s hall of fame and became household items. Finding Nemo Movie Review 9/10

The marriage of Disney with Pixar has delivered the most stunning animated picture thus far in “Finding Nemo”.

This unprecedented artful animation tells the story of a clownfish family in the depth of the ocean. A dreadful under the sea attack resulted in the loss of Marlin’s wife and their numerous baby eggs, all but one- which he called Nemo (voice by Alexander Gould). As a result, Marlin (voice by Albert Brooks) is overprotective of his Nemo, who incidentally also has one of his fins too small. While defying his father, Nemo is caught by human divers and is taken to a Dentist’s Aquarium in Sydney. As Nemo, along with the Gang in the fish bowl, tries to make it back to the ocean; Marlin, helped by Dory (voice Ellen DeGeneres) who suffers from short term memory loss, sets off to cross the ocean searching for his son and the adventure takes a whole new dimension as they encounter sharks, jelly fish and turtles…keeping us on our toes.

Some performances are unforgettable and have marked movie history. Some characters were confined to one movie. Others became franchises of their own.

These represent why I love movies and are listed in no particular order. This is a partial list still in the making
1) Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau

2) Charlie Chaplin as The Tramp

3) Yul Bryner as King of Siam in The King and I (1956)

4) Smeagel in Lord of the Rings

5) Mike Myers as Austin Powers

6) Sean Connery as the original James Bond

Montreal Tips for Summer Visits

Favourite things to do and enjoy in Montreal:

1) Stroll in Vieux Montreal and enjoy all the outdoors fun and various street shows.

2) Lunch in Vieux Montreal (Au Vieux port is my favorite)
3) Rent a bicycle (Tandem if two people) from vieux port and spend a two hours fun ride. Go over the bridge to the tiny islands there. Fabulous experience.

4) Montreal Jazz festival
6) An outdoor concert (Many are given free every year in the summer)

7) Explore Montreal Underground and marvel at how a whole city exists underground
8) Day (and night) out at Mont Royal (Between Sherbrook and St. Joseph): various funky stores, ethnic eateries, and night clubs.
9) Take a cable car to Big O (Stade Olympique)

10) White water rafting at “Riviere Rouge”

Things to avoid:

Parajet water-rafting-wanna-be ride: Very uncomfortable bumpy ride with very high potential to swallow significant amount of water. Drown like feeling. Must avoid.
